About This Item
The Science Press, 1911. Hardcover. Good with no dust jacket/No Jacket. One half year of the monthly magazine bound as one volume. This former library copy has a bookplate at the front endpaper, a raised seal at the title page, and a number penned at page 25, but is otherwise clean, the pages gently toned at the margins and showing short edge-tears at the title page and final page but otherwise sound. The binding is square and tight; the red cloth cover is a little shelf-rubbed at the corners, darkened at the spine, and finger-smudged front and rear, but is free from call numbers. Gilt titles at spine. 623pp., diagrams and some photographic illustrations. Articles range from a study on Pasteur to vegetarianism, also including "Buffon and the Problem of Species" by Arthur O. Lovejoy.
