About This Item
Marboro Books, 1962-01-01. Hardcover. Very Good/Unclipped, good. 42 p., clean and unmarked, plus map and page of factory marks, followed by 55 photographic color plates. Binding tight; boards fine, well-protected by mildly age-toned photographic d.j. that has slight rubbing at edges and a closed tear near lower corner of back panel. BONUS insert: clean card folder has 4 reproductions of art suitable for framing "4 color plates selected for you from the Encyclopedia of World Art." They are unidentified, but one is clearly a Corot portrait of an Italian woman playing a lute; a photograph of an African mask; a photograph of an Etruscan statue, and a photograph of a Chinese plate featuring a beautiful lady with her babies.
