San Francisco: Book Club of California, 1952. Limited Edition. Flexible Boards. Very Good in Very Good Slipcase. One of 300 copies printed by the L-D Allen Press, at Villa Deveron, Cagnes-sur-mer, France. 68 pages. With the Book Club prospectus laid in. Four full page color illustrations by Ray Bethers. Small octavo. White flexible boards with titles in red on front and black on spine. In glassine wrapper. Housed in folded board portfolio with spine title in gilt, and then housed in a slipcase. Cover fine as has been proected by glassine and slipcase. Glssine is very good, portfolio and slipcase very good. Light foxing to endpapers and margins. Prospectus is fine. Prospectus states that this is "The first Club book to be produced outside the United States. Printed in two colors from Garamond type, hand-set, on Richard de Bas handmade paper"
