Boards a hint shelf-worn, front hinge very slightly weak, else a Very Good, bright copy. Second printing as described in BAL 6366, with pp. [567-8] blank and signature mark D lacking. Early labor novel set among female leather workers. Includes a description of a failed strike at the shoe factory where the heroine works. BLAKE, pp. 72, 75, & 225-6; COAN, p. 82; SMITH F-397. Not in HANNA.
