New York: Simon and Schuster. Very Good in Very Good dust jacket. 1963. First Edition; Second Printing. Hardcover. Stated second printing. Signed by Bourke-White on front free endpaper. Laid in is a handwritten card from the author's brother to the unnamed recipient of the book. Gray paper quarter bound with black cloth. White lettering on spine. Slight bumping to bottom corners; minor rubbing to bottom edges of boards and text block; lettering on spine has partially worn off in a few spots. Pictorial dust jacket with green and blue lettering on cover and spine. Jacket is wrapped in mylar and is not price clipped. Some shelf wear and chipping to edges, particularly to head of spine; faint stain to tail of spine; minor creasing. Tight binding and clean interior. Includes over 70 black-and-white photos. Margaret Bourke-White (1904-1971) was an American photographer who became the first known female war correspondent. In this autobiography, Bourke-White details her pioneering work as a photojournalist and recounts her struggles with Parkinson's disease. ; B&W Photographs; Small 4to 9" - 11" tall; 383 pp; Signed by Author .
