A FIRST EDITION, first printing, from 1963, this hardcover large 8vo (6.24" x 9.50") has black cloth wrapping the spine, lettered there in bright green, with green paper over boards, with the author's name in black script to front. Condition is VG: completely clean inside, pages creamy white & unmarked, binding strong & straight, Only flaws are external: light soil/darkening to upper & lower edges of both boards & small areas of white paper residue stuck to lower spine. The price-clipped DJ is VG- (minus), with small chips & creases at spine & corners, slightly less than smooth (like water rippling?) on reverse; nicely protected in new mylar cover free!
