Laid in is a postcard with a 15 cent stamp of the Rittenhouse paper mill, with a blue ink signature by Harry Devlin beneath it, and an invitation to see the Harry Devlin A Retrospective at the Morris Museum in Morristown, NJ.. There is toning to the extremities, othewise a fine, clean copy. The unclipped pictorial jacket is bright with one corner rubbed. This book shows 70 examples and descriptions of Victorian architecture along the Eastern Seaboard, including octagonal barns, New York town houses, Cape May cottages, and Greek Revival churches.. Signed and Inscrbed By the Author. First Edition. Hardcover. Near Fine/Near Fine. Illus. by Harry Devlin. 11 1/2"x 11 1/2".
