Black cloth with gilt sp. lettering, clean and unworn but sp. lettering very dull almost to point of illegibility. Maps across end-papers. f/piece + 256, 22 further ills on 14 pp. ex-pagination; no obvious internal faults, being clean, tight and unmarked. Price-clipped jacket clean but extremities slightly rubbed, top spine more so. Jacket sub-title slightly different from that on t.p. 14.5 cm x 21 cm
