London: Chapman and Hall, Limited, 1910. Hardcover, cloth spine over boards. First edition thus of this two volume edition of The Pickwick Papers. Bound in gray cloth spines over light gray boards. Illustrated with 24 colored plates by Cecil Aldin. Spines moderately darkened and slight split to cloth at upper joint of volume I. General light wear to covers. One tissue guard loose but present. A very good copy of the first trade edition, complete with Aldin's magnificent color illustrations. Podeschi B25 A large, heavy set, Priority and International orders will require additional postage. . First Edition Thus. Hardcover. Very Good/Not Issued. 4to - over 9¾" - 12" tall.
