"This Franklin Library edition . . . is set in Electra ... designed by the master typographer W. A. Dwiggins in 1935. The display face is Eurostile Bold Condensed, cut in 1952 by the Italian typemasters Aldo Novarese and A. Butti. Bill Nelson's illustrations were specially commissioned for this edition. The acid-free paper is 70-pound Franklin Library Vellum White Offset, made to archival standards by the P. H. Glatfelter Paper Company of Spring Grove, Pennsylvania for the Franklin Library.
