The Bobbs-Merrill Company, 1932. Hardcover. Acceptable. 1932. No Edition Remarks. 378 pages. No dust jacket. Brown cloth with gilt lettering to front board and spine. Contains black and white photographic plates. Pages are lightly tanned with mild foxing to endpapers and text block edges. Pencil inscription to front free endpaper, paste-down and half title page, with a few small nicks and rub marks along text block edge. Occasional thumb-marking present throughout. Plates are bright and clear, with slight tanning to edges. Boards have moderate shelf-wear with minor bumping to corners and rubbing to surfaces. Light tanning to spine and edges, with visible crushing to spine ends. Light mottling to lower edge, with slight scuffing to joint. Book has a subtle backward lean.
