London: Hutchinson & Co, 1948 Copy in blue cloth on boards wilt silver gilt title on spine. Spine lightly rubbed at head/foot. Lower cover has liquid splash mark along upper edge. Crack in front hinge which has detached upper cover from gatherings. Maps as front and rear end papers. Previous owners inscription on FFE and half title page. A few light internal cracks. Clean text and b/w plates.
