Philadelphia: Crissy & Markley. Good with No dust jacket as issued. 1859. First Edition. Hardcover. Publisher's blindstamped brown cloth with gilt title to spine. Spine and edges faded. Moderate edgewear and soil/water spotting. Spine ends and corners bumped and a little chipped. Binding sound, text clean. Interior rather foxed. Bright yellow eps. Illustrated with engraved plates. Waterstaining along gutters and upper edges, extending up to about 3" downward and outward into pages. Also some much lesser staining along fore edges of first several pages. Early former owner name in pencil to front pastedown. No stickers or stamps. Not ex-library. ; 8vo 8" - 9" tall; 149 pages .
