xiv+467pp; lacking half-tile and engraved title, title and few other leaves frayed, staining to some leaves. 8vo contemp calf, very worn, Nathaniel Thorn [?1695-1743] appears to have been a bookseller at St Peter's Churchyard from 1717 to 1735. In 1722, he was one of the publishers of Izacke's 'Remarkable Antiquities of the City of Exeter' having earlier published on his own account a sermon by the Bishop of Exeter in 1717. This label measures 2.75 x 3.5in has a cartouche with angels at the top holding a book.
