Includes index. Occasional footnotes. Fold-out facsimile of a Broadside. The author was the Director of the Schwenkfelder Library. This is a story infinitely worth telling for it deals with an individual who was a consummate scholar at the age of twelve, an accomplished poet at fifteen, and an established physician at twenty-all in an age wuth formal edcuation was practically non-existent and legitimate medical practicw was just beginning.
