Philadelphia: William Marshall & Co., 1836. Leather Bound. Very Good +. 4 7/8 x 7 5/8 inches. 2 ffep + 271 pages + 4 rfep. Scattered light foxing. Bound in full polished brown calf with gilt decoration to edges of boards which are now worn. Spine with six gilt double bands and red morocco spine label reading "Griswold's Prayers. A nice copy of this book intended to supplement the American BCP. Notable for including an early prayer for temperance meetings.
