It includes an intriguing set of photographs as well as reproductions of the paintings and studies they inspired.' Author was a lecturer at the National Portrait Gallery in London at the time of publication; she is now a researcher there. She has written extensively on the Pre-Raphaelites and is a fellow of the Royal Historical Society.
