Pp. 450; numerous full page photo-plates and detailed anatomical text-figures. Early tan cloth, lettered in black on the spine, (original printed blue wrappers bound in at rear), 8vo. Presents ten papers on Tarsius, Hapale (=Callithrix), Tupaia, and Ptilocercus from the Proceedings of the Zoological Society of London for 1919, 1921, 1924, 1925, 1926, and 1927. The three largest papers are: Wollard - The Anatomy of Tarsius spectrum (111 pages, 1925); Le Gros Clark - On the Anatomy of the Pen-tailed Tree-Shrew, Ptilocercus lowii (130 pages, 1927); and Beattie - The Anatomy of the Common Marmoset, Hapale jacchus (124 pages, 1927). From the personal library of British anatomist and zoologist Baron Solly Zuckerman with his signature on the front endpaper. It is quite rare to find all of these early PZSL papers bound together in one volume.
