About This Item
Pamphlet, 8vo, disbound, 103 pp. Remnants of old binding on the spine, some, normal aging and a bit of soiling to half title. Sometimes this work is attributed to George Grenville, but most sources attribute it to Knox. This pamphlet contains a considerable amount of financial information, and comments on the recent war with France. More importantly, it contains a good deal of material on the financial importance of the American colonies. Knox, wisely, discusses the importance of paying attention to the concerns of the colonies. He even goes as far to suggest that the colonies send representatives to Parliament, and points to the risks of taxing the colonies without their representation.
