Spine lightly rubbed at tips and gilt dull; contents clean. Gift inscribed by the Author to his mother: "From John, Mother, May 7th 42" to ffep. Jacket lightly spine sunned with very minor loss at tail. A Near Fine copy on Very Good jacket. The Author's first book, which no doubt made the recipient very proud! Scarce.
