U.S. Secretary of State Robert Lansing's copy, with his ink name and date on front endpaper and a few pencil notes in text (purchased from a family library in Henderson Harbor, NY, near his birthplace in Watertown, which included many other works owned by him). Lansing was secretary under President Wilson. Spine faded, edges and endpapers a bit foxed. 1918 Hard Cover. Red cloth, gilt titles and rules, blind-stamped double border on front and rear boards. A collection of speeches and papers related to foreign policy during President Woodrow Wilson's administration.
