London, Paris, New York: Goupil and Company, 1900. This is #74/350 copies printed on Japanese paper. Finely-bound and signed by the Harcourt Bindery of Charlestown, Massachusetts. Cover border designs in gilt. Panelled spine with lettering and panel borders in gilt. Inner dente3lles and marbled endpapers. Free endpapers darkened at dentelles. Top edge gilt. 1/2" x 1" piece missing from top of spine. Frontispiece portrait in two states, one of which is hand-colored. Collated complete. All portraits are in two states, with tissue-guards, one of which is titled. A total of 39 full-page portraits in two states and an additional 8 plates in one state. A fine, clean copy throughout. Printed and plates engraved by Manzi, Joyant and Company near Paris. 300pp. Due to size and weight postage will be extra.. Limited Edition. Full Cobalt Blue Morocco. Light edge and Corner Wear/No Jacket. Large Quarto.
