Dark brick-colored cloth with gold gilt lettering/decoration and with the front board also stamped in blind, [314] pages [last numbered page is 313], illustrated with 4 beautiful color plates. Non-fantasy historical romance set in ancient Egypt. [Listed by Bleiler in the original 1948 Checklist, but not in the revised 1978 Checklist].
A good only copy with the spine lettering faded and worn, spine slightly cocked with light bumping/wear to the ends, corner lightly bumped with wear to the tips, page edge with dust soiling, Hinges starting, light dust soiling. A good reading copy.
