About This Item
London: Williams and Norgate, 1876. Cloth. Very Good. A tight, well-preserved example of the 1876 1st edition of this landmark in 19th century sociology, complete in 3 volumes. All 3 octavo volumes clean and VG in their russet cloth, with gilt-lettering to the spines and elaborate blindstamping to the panels. Fading --and very light soiling-- along the spines, forgivable soiling to the pastedowns and endsheets. Still though, solid and very presentable.
