A small printed circular advertising a promotion from the publisher S.T. Allen & Co.: for every two dollars sent by a subscriber, they will receive in return "a bound yearly volume of Merry's Museum of any year since 1841". The circular describes "Merry's Museum" as "designed for youth, [and] is adapted to create a love of reading and stimulate self-improvement". Measures (8.5" by 5.5"); verso blank.
