Slightest suggestion only of dust-dulling to the spine bands and panel edges. Remains particularly well-preserved overall; tight, bright, clean and strong. Copy previously owned by Vivian Ridler with his uninked embossed personalised stamp to front free endpaper. Vivian Ridler, CBE (2 October 1913-11 January 2009), ex-Faber exec, was a printer, typographer and scholar in Britain.
