Kaun was a professor of Slavic literature and languages at the University of Chicago and UC Berkeley until his death in 1944. Before he arrived in the United States, he was a student revolutionary in Russia who was involved in the overthrow of the Czar. Covers worn and faded. Front hinge cracked. As-Is.
