Ends faded and edges with light foxing; the dust jacket is unclipped. The corners are worn. Documenting the French Dreyfus Affair. Dreyfus, a French Captain of Jewish background was falsely accused and framed by the government and sent to Devils' Island for espionage near the end of the nineteenth century (1894). Dreyfus maintains belief in his country and his innocence is eventually proven. Adapted to screen and turned into a movie in 1991. .
