The first of four novels by Condon about the Prizzis, PRIZZI'S HONOR was adapted into the successful film of the same name in 1985, starring Jack Nicholson and Anjelica Houston. It was nominated for eight Academy Awards, with Houston winning for Best Supporting Actress. 9'' x 6''. Original cloth-backed grey boards. Original unclipped ($13.95) typographical dust jacket. Endpapers with relationship diagrams of the Prizzi family and their finances. 316 pages. Inscribed by Condon "with best wishes," dated July 12, 1982 in New York. Jacket with light edgewear. Binding with a hint of bumping to spine ends. Firm.
