This novel tells the story of a professor's midlife crisis as he mourns the death of his youth and a student once engaged to his daughter. Partially unopened. Quarter green cloth with marbled boards and paper label to spine, which is slightly sunned. Near fine. Bookplates of noted collectors, Frederick W. Skiff and Estelle Doheny on front pastedown.
