This book is warmly inscribed by the author to Eleanor Butler Roosevelt, an American philanthropist and daughter-in-law to Theodore Roosevelt, the 26th President of the United States; the book also presents provenance with Ms. Roosevelt's personal bookplate affixed to the front pastedown. The book is in near fine condition with a square, tight binding, clean boards, and bright, crisp pages throughout; mild crimping to the spine ends and light fading to the spine lettering, else fine. Not remaindered, not ex-library; will ship carefully wrapped in a sturdy box.
