A single issue of this journal devoted to new thought and theories in education. This with a piece by noted American philosopher and educational reformer, John Dewey, titled "What is Social Study." The rest of this issue contains a variety of articles on art and art as it functions, especially as it applies to education in schools. GOOD condition. Moderate toning and some soiling, with several areas and spots of staining. Stain on the fore edge.
