New York: Bloch Publishing Company, 1960. Signed and inscribed on inside front cover with an additional quote on fep. 8vo size red clothbound hardcover; 232 pages including index. There was an earlier version of this book in the 1930s; this would be the second (2nd) edition. Contents include: Amos Hosea Isaiah Michah The Boiling Cauldron Jeremiah "By the Waters of Babylon" Ezekiel Deutero-Isaiah Liberation, Failure New Visions The Second Temple and Prophetic Echoes Two Parables Conclusion Rabbi Cohon, was the founding rabbi of Temple Sinai in Brookline, Massachusetts. In addition to his rabbinical duties, Rabbi Cohon was a college professor and the author of many books on Judaism. Rabbi Cohon died in 1976. We have many autographed books by Rabbi Beryl D. Cohon. Please check our other listings. Ex-temple library with minimal treatments: one stamp crossed out, Dewey label on spine crossed out, jacket covered with mylar. The jacket has some wear including an inch tear near the bottom left corner, a tiny hole on left spine seam of front cover, a small light spot on bottom of back cover. The,re is some significant edgewear to bottom, light soil to outside pages. You'll have to cut the tape holding on the dust jacket if you wish to view the signature and inscription.
