Third edition. George Routledge and Co. London. 1855. Octavo. 506pp. Engraved frontispiece and plates. Contemporary full grained red morocco, spine in six compartments. Elaborately gilded to spine, boards, and inner edges. All edges gilt. Lightly bumped to corners. Light wear to edges. Foxing to frontispiece and tissue guard. Strained at p16 and 466. Hinges starting but firm. Neat signature dated August 2nd 1859 of Sophie Haslam to ffep. A handsome volume.
