Good. 1st edition & scarce set. Approx. 13'' by 11''. Brown textured cloth binding with gilt titles on spine. Upper edge gilt. Lii + 208pp illustrated with 52 plates. Shelf wear to binding of both volumes (see pictures), tears to spine of vol. II. Title page & first few pages of vol. I have been reattached/strengthened (see pic), cracks to inner binding. Beautifully illustrated from paintings by Turner et al., with descriptions of the architecture & views. Ex reference library with minimal markings, decorative bookplate to rear pastedown, occasional blind stamps within. No other obvious library markings, the inner books are generally clean & the pages themselves in good/very good condition. Vol. I is in fair condition due to the weaker binding.***Over 1kg & may require extra overseas postage***
