Boston: Gould, Kendall, and Lincoln, 1844. Leather Bound. Very Good +. 4 1/4 x 6 1/2 inches. 656 numbered pages. Last page misnumbered. Printed advertising on end papers. Contains noted music and section of chants. Scattered foxing and a few pages extended. Bound in full dark purple leather with decorative blind stamping on covers, gilt lettering and rules on spine. Edges and corners lightly worn. An excellent example of early American printed music.
