About This Item

London: J.R. for Nath. Ekins, 1672. Sixth Edition. Hardcover (Full Leather). Very Good Condition. Later but old full calf, front hinge splitting with evidence of an old repair, but binding still quite sound. With the frontis of the author. Modest browning to the title, light scattered foxing and browning elsewhere. A nice copy of the last revision of Brown's intermittently mystical and superstitious book debunking mysticism and superstition. Together with the Religio Medici, his ruminations on the relationship between science and religion. An enduringly relevant pair of enlightenment works. (21), 440, (11) pp Size: Quarto (4to). Quantity Available: 1. Shipped Weight: Under 1 kilo. Category: Philosophy; Inventory No: 047373.
