Harmondsworth: Penguin, 1979 0140049495. First edition. First Penguin paperback edition. Not an easy book to locate. Ex-university library with the usual stamps plus some transparent reinforcement of cover which has helped to protect book. This is in otherwise Good condition. A photocopied review of the author's colourful autobiography has been pasted inside the front cover and front end page and this covers over the withdrawal stamps etc.The same has been done with blank labels to cover stamps and reinforce on title pages. 511 pages including index plus 12 pages of B/W photos. No inscriptions. .
