Facsimiles of two works by Rabelais, originally printed in Lyon in 1552, bound in vellum, gilt illustration on front cover [7 in. (40) pp.], limited edition, copy #215 of 300; ink note tipped in to front pastedown regarding the publication; accompanied by Champion's essay on the works, bound in paperwraps [7 in. (1), 18 pp.]. Some light soiling, else very good.

Includes one intorudtion/prospectus booklet, with gatherings unopened, in fine condition, and facsimile of the original publication. Facsimile book vellum bound with gilt image to front. A limited edition. Loose prospectus laid-in, and limitation tipped-in to front pastedown. Both items housed in the original? paper /card slipcase, with title in ink, laid down to spine of cardboard slipcase. Slipcase with light chipping to corners.
