Good/none. some soiling to covers, spotting to page edges, lower corners bumped, previous owner's personal bookplate of Joseph Towne Wheeler to front endpaper, small bookstore label to front free endpaper. 8vo - over 7¾" - 9¾" tall. Hard Cover. First printing, no others noted. Wheeler, a scholar and publishing historian, was the author of The Maryland Press 1777-1790, Baltimore, 1938. He was killed in action in the Italian Campaign of WWII. Books and other items ship promptly with a tracking number and (generally over $15.00) jacket protectors if applicable. Clean recycled packing material will be used when possible. The Book Shed has a been a member of the Vermont Antiquarian Bookseller's Association since 1997.
