Large folio approx. 19'' by 13.5'', original burgandy cloth binding with gilt decoration on front and gilt titles on spine. Spine is worn with parts missing, corners have some edgewear (please see pictures). Preface, list of plates, 15 pp introduction and 75 black and white plates, being a selection from architectural sketches done by G. Washington Browne whilst travelling as Pugin Scholar. Generally the inner book is in excellent condition with occasional marks. Ex reference library with few markings, faint stamp to upper edge, blind stamp and number on reverse of title page, single stamp and pictorial bookplate on rear pastedown. ***Well over 1kg when packaged & will require extra overses postage***
