First edition, with Twain's name printed in roman on title page. Cloth binding 1, with undecorated endpapers and illustration of Twain's scrapbook on rear pastedown. Scuffing to boards and along edges. Fraying and chipping to cloth on spine and corners. Age-toning and foxing to interior pages. Signature of previous owner on front free endpaper.
