No dust wrapper (as published). Deep red cloth to boards slightly faded on spine with light surface wear to cloth at edges of spine and corners of boards. Gilt embossed figure of 'Punch' in embossed black lined cartouche to front board with embossed cartouche to back board. Gilt titles to spine along with embossed 'Punch' and Dog. Internally pages are lightly tanned with some random spotting. Rear end papers splitting at top of hinge plus some staining to edge of rear paste down.504 pages in total, including index at rear and Mr Punch's.
