About This Item

New York: W.A. Benjamin, Inc, 1961. First edition thus. Paperback. Near Fine. 8vo. [4], v-x, [2], 3-198 pp. Yellow wraps printed in green, grey, and black. Illustrated with a few in-text diagrams. Notes corrected by E.R. Huggins and H.T. Yura. Three of the articles contained in this volume were previously printed in the journal called Physical Review. Part of the Frontiers in Physics series, edited by David Pines. The series was intended to make important lectures and scientific material in key areas of physics research available to graduate students and physicists. The notes in this volume constitute the substance of the third semester of a three-semester course on quantum mechanics given at Cal Tech in 1953, and this volume is the first time the lecture notes were printed. A small bump to the bottom corner of the pageblock.
