Black and white illustrations by Frederick Dielman. Prize plate stuck to front pastedown. Book has a slight smoky odour overall. Binding remains firm. Crinkling to gutters. Hinges are cracked with netting exposed. Pages remain bright and clear with minimal tanning. Thumb marking present. Boards have mild edge wear with slight rubbing to surfaces. Crushing to spine ends. Tanning to spine and edges. Gilt lettering is darkened. Book has a slight forward lean.
