London: Frederick Warne & Co. Ltd., 1955. White cloth stamped in black with pictorial color pastedown, in original pictorial dustjacket. Jacket shows wear and is stained, especially on rear panel. Original 75pence sticker still affixed to inner dust-jacjet flap. Illustrated throughout with lovely color vignettte drawings by Kate Greenaway. Warne re-issued this title in 1955, though this edition is somewhat later. Long private gift inscription inside front cover dated 1974. A lovely copy in complete but soiled jacket.. Reprint. Pictorial Cover. Very Good+/Good+. 8vo - over 7¾" - 9¾" tall.
