London: Richard Blome, 1690. Original copperplate engraving by Johannes Kip after the drawing by G. Freman. 16 3/4" by 10 5/8". Published circa 1690-1710 in Blome's History of the Old and New Testaments. Some of the engravings, like this one, included an elaborate banner cartouche honoring one of the patrons whose financial support made publication possible. A second engraving--"The Dedication of the Temple"--is printed on the verso. The engraving is in very good good condition: clean and strong impression, with some smudging and faint water-staining outside the image in the margins. It is guaranteed to be more than 300 years old.. Early Printing. Single Sheet. Very Good. Illus. by Johannes Kip and G. Fremen. Folio - over 12" - 15" tall. Fine Art Print.
