About This Item
An important association between major authors in American genre fiction: mystery and horror, inscribed to August Derleth (1909-1971), H.P. Lovecraft's literary executor, co-founder of Arkham House and inventor of the term "Cthulu Mythos." He, along with Arkham House co-founder Donald Wandrei, were the first to publish H.P. Lovecraft's writings. The Memoirs of Solar Pons authored by Derleth has a forward by Ellery Queen.
