New York: Charles Scribner and Sons, 1925. (xxxii) 422 pages. The story o an archer in the service of France's King Louis XI and the kings rivalry with Charles, The Bold, Duke of Burgandy. Bound in black cloth covered boards with a decorated pastedown on the front cover and gilt lettering on the spine. Front and rear cover have some shelf wear. All four corners are bumped. Pages have some toning. Rear pastedown has a 1" small sticker remnant. A nice tight copy.. Second Printing. Hard Cover. Very Good. Illus. by C. Bosseron Chambers. 4to - over 9¾" - 12" tall. Hard Cover.
