He also was the founding publisher of NY Magazine, Co-founder of Runner's World and Chairman of NY Road Runners. Jim Ryun has Inscribed and Signed "George, Thanks for making my first Millrose Games a memory to new treasured. Go with God, Jim Ryun, John 3:3-8". Included with this book is a copy of The Great American Runners Guide, Western edition from 1985 and a memo sent to George Hirsch regarding the publication. Author Jim Ryun was a 3 time Olympian and world record holder for the mile, half mile and 1500 meters for nearly 10 years. All books bubble wrapped and shipped in a box.
